A jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, with Judge Kenneth Johnson presiding, convicted appellant of assault and the weapons charge, but acquitted him of robbery with a dangerous and deadly weapon. Appellant received concurrent sentences of 15 years for assault and 20 years for the handgun offense.
